SPONSORED POST
Thank you for Starbucks Central Park and Starbucks Summarecon Mall Serpong for sponsoring this post :).
Hello dear lovely reader, how are you lately? How was your weekend? Mine's been very thrillingly happy. Why is it thrilling? Well... I just feel lately I've been very happy, even though I'm super duper busy, but I just feel happy. I realize that happiness is something that's very simple and yet you can find it in most places, maybe you just don't realize it or you expect too much, but try looking around, you'll find inner happiness :).
I've been very happy lately that more and more readers are coming to this blog and I know they're all hungry people LOL, but that's totally my mission: I just love to make everyone hungry, that means I have photos good enough to risen up your appetite right? :).
This post's content and photos are taken in two different Starbucks outlet, first in Starbucks Central Park and the other one (Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha) was taken in Starbucks Summarecon Mal Serpong (SMS). Well then, let's start the beautiful journey of coffee hunting :).
TOFFEE NUT LATTE
So basically, this drink is a simple latte (cappuccino) mixed with a glimpse toffee nut syrup. If you're a big fan of a hazelnut-like beverage taste, then this drink might fit for you, you can totally have this drink with a piece of cake and what I had from this food tasting is a perfect piece of cake, you have to check it out. Comparing to my usual choice, I personally fond my usual choice better, I love it when I have my caramel latte with a little vanilla syrup :). But I think you have to try this coffee, it's nice to have your coffee with this toffee nut syrup, it's like you're having an extra something-something, and of course you'll gain another experience in drinking coffee in Starbucks, plus Starbucks has always known for their lovely choice
Incase you're wondering what coffee I've always ordered in Starbucks? No other than Caramel Macchiato. I'm such a big big fan of this. I actually love this one drink Starbucks used to have... I think it's called Creme Brulee Macchiato and too bad it's now gone from the menu, I think a lot of people seem to like it, they should've kept it :(.
VERONA CAKE
I worship this cake! I love this sooooo much... I love how the cake is so moist, its sweetness is very balanced and I love that they have this sense of mocha and coffee but it doesn't end up cheesy tasting, I just love this and you should try it and of course you need to have your coffee with you because it would be even better. I suggest this with the "Toffee Nut Latte" I got, it's such a match. At one point you'll have the sweetness from the cake, and I tend to manage me coffee to be less sweet so it kinda brings the balance to the mixed flavor :).
CRANBERRY WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO
This is totally my most favorite drink from the christmas treats series because simply you have the best of everything, and this is totally the most unique beverage I've seen. Coffee with cranberry sauce? Gosh it's such an amazing drink, I should probably thank the white chocolate and the mocha for the blend, because this drink is amazing. Make sure you don't have it in high level of sugar (sweet) because you'll probably not having it the best, somehow the coffee should exist :).
On top of the whipped cream, you'll have this amazing glimpse of Cranberry Sugar Sprinkles (which is tiny slices of cranberry fruit and sugar), OMG it is totally beyond words. I LOVE THIS DRINK. Words can't even explain!
Thank you for Starbucks Central Park and Starbucks Summarecon Mal Serpong for making this food testing happened.
I have always been a great client and costumer of yours. I love you forever and I mean it :).

Sydney food bloggers Christmas picnic 2012
Food is often a social activity, but the process of food blogging is not. Editing photos, uploading images, researching online and writing text can seem a lonely task at 3am. Creating an opportunity to meet fellow food bloggers was the impetus behind Chocolatesuze and I organising the first ever Sydney food bloggers Christmas picnic in 2009.
Our regular annual event has grown ever since, and

The Best of SUSHI TEI!
Technically, I don't think this restaurant need anymore introduction. When everyone hear 'SUSHI TEI', I'm sure in their mind's probably saying something like 'that's the best SUSHI restaurant I've ever been in Indonesia or maybe in the world', and fortunately I HAVE TO AGREE.
Sushi Tei's actually a branch and franchise from its original restaurant in Singapore, its first restaurant was opened around 1994 and in Indonesia it's first introduced in 2003 and until 2012 it has personally been the best sushi and japanese restaurant I've ever been. This entry is not for me to review the food because I think you guys have tasted most of them before and therefore I'm going to make a compilation out of it! This is my personal choice of THE BEST MENUS OF SUSHI TEI.
The food that I'm going to review and mention below is the food that I always order everytime I go to Sushi Tei, but to be frank, these menus are not always this way, there are times when I order other menus, different variant and even more than this, but this is just my personal favorite and what I MOSTLY order. They have this sense of attraction that never bore me and always make me crave and crave for more dining experience. Wondering what they are? Here are my top choices!
Photos are all taken by me and they're taken during my last visit at Central Park store, last Friday.
APPETIZER
SEAWEED
Oh My Gosh, this is probably the best seaweed I've ever tasted because you can feel how fresh and natural tasting it is, the only problem that I'm having is the portion. I wish it's actually larger because we barely can't stand not craving for more.
CUKAIDAKO (Baby Octopus)
Don't judge its look from its cover, I once asked my mom to have a bite of this dish but my mom tend to look at the appearance (she said it looks creepy), but I force her to have a bite and she finally agree! In the end it's her that crave for another portion. They're so GOOD!
TORI GYOZA
I love how everytime I eat this, I can feel how yummy the meat is, the broth from the meat and how perfectly cooked the skin is.
Another choice of appetizer you can have is CAWANMUSHI (egg custard in a glass/bowl), but for me it's personally a little to heavy for appetizer, I can get a little full.
MAIN COURSE
ABURI SALMON ROLL
Whoopsssss this has always been my personal favorite ever since my first visit to Sushi Tei back when I was in high school (6 years ago). I have always loved anything with salmon (rare of perfectly cooked) so I gave it a try and 6 years later, still is my champion menu and on for years to come.
JUMBO DRAGON ROLL
This is obviously a must try whenever you visit SUSHI TEI. This is obviously the recommended menu, I love the eel, the tempura and actually...everything.
Other preferable options:
- Kani Mayo Roll
BEVERAGES
Nothing for me can beat the classic Ice Ocha. Not because they're free but they neutralize everything, so that you won't feel like having too much and get your sense of full rested for a while :)
Another favorite choice of mine is this STRAWBERRY SPARKLING MOJITO
I was lucky enough to get the promo, I didn't notice any promotion happening that time and still ON! For every purchase of IDR 250.000, you will get a free complimentary of KANI MAKI. This is also good!
Thank you SUSHI TEI for always giving me a great dining experience.
DON'T MISS THE PROMO, GUYS :)

375 Congee & Noodle House, Chatswood
Take a handful of rice, cook it for hours in plenty of stock and you end up with congee or rice porridge, a soul-reviving elixir that will cure all your ills. Whether you’re sick, seedy or ridiculously hung-over, congee is the Chinese version of penicillin. Rice porridge may not sound terribly exciting but that all changes after you add a deep-fried Chinese doughnut to the picture. See. That

HOME MADE TREATS: DEADFUL TASTY CHOCOLATE
What's a day without a delicious home mad treats? I was craving for chocolate and I suddenly remembered that I have some Hershey's chocolates left from my latest Singapore trip. As what you see on the picture above is one of my sweet experiment. I don't take anything from the internet (recipes), as this is called an experiment, it might end up as a sweet treat or end up as a chaos :(.
I don't recommend this for anyone who doesn't like sweet stuffs as this is dangerously sweet and might be dangerously fattening, but that's probably the least of my care (weight) so I'm going to HAVE SOME SWEET MOMENTS to remember the sweet moments.
If you're wondering about the ingredients used for this experiment, here they are:
- a half of the whole bar of the Hershey's Harmony chocolate bar (192gr)
- 5 pcs of the Hershey Kisses milk chocolate
- 2 pcs of Hershey Kisses chocolate almond
- marshmallow (plain)
- one sachet of Cadbury hot chocolate drink
The most used and general mixture for this experiment is actually the chocolate garnish and dip, so let's start with it first.
CHOCOLATE GARNISH AND DIP:
- put the bars of the Hershey's Harmony chocolate bar, 3 pcs of Hershey Kisses milk chocolate and 1 pcs of Hershey Kisses chocolate almond into a bowl, or it could be anything that's microvable and heat-resistant.
put on the microwave for about 8-10 minutes in maximum heat.
Let's move on to the "Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows"
Level: easy
Approximate time of making: 8 minutes
The longest time taken for creating this actually waiting for the chocolate garnish on top of the marshmallows to melt, while you're preparing for this drink.
I'd like to mix the hot chocolate with the rest of the Hershey Kisses chocolates so that I'd have a fun chocolate taste. After you pour the boiling water to the glass, don't forget to stir, so that the Hershey Kisses could melt, and finally put four marshmallows to the hot chocolate drink and garnish it with nice and hot melted chocolate. This drink is totally my newest love.
I love when the marshmallows kinda melt and you can have some foamy texture and original vanilla taste from the marshmallow. Variant!
Baked Marshmallows with Chocolate Dip
Another fun experiment, this time I'm wondering what it's like to have marshmallow baked in the same time with the melted chocolate. I thought I was going to burn the marshmallows with the fire, but I thought isn't it hideous to burn something that came from the gas, I don't think it's healthy enough and you'll get those gas tasted marshmallow instead.
I kinda thought that the marshmallow's going to melt away, but I end up got a little happy surprise.
Look at how prettily baked the marshmallows are...wait until I try to dig the inside.
I love how it looks and tasted, at first when you put your spoon on the surface, it's absolutely crispy, but soon you'll have this foamy texture and cloud like appearance. I'm in love. That's for my home made treats of EATandTREATS. Incase you're wondering why is the first picture is written 'part 2' on it, well if you follow my instagram, you'll know that I posted a picture of Starbucks Hot Chocolate with marshmallows.

Pearl's Diner and Eggless Dessert Cafe, Adelaide
Buttermilk fried chicken. The promise of tender chicken cloaked in crunchy batter has been on my mind all day, and I can barely hold back a smile when we finally walk into Pearl's Diner.
Sydney may be basking in newfound excitement over food trucks, but they've been around even longer in Adelaide. Burger Theory was one of the first to hit the streets in 2011, and when public demand continually

DESSERT OF THE WEEK: NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE BY BAKERZIN
Sorry for hibernating in post, if you follow my Twitter and Facebook, you'll probably know that I've bene fighting with one of the most annoying times in everyone's university life. MID-TERM EXAM. I had sleepless days, some only got a few hours of sleep and in result, glimpse of tiredness. My exam finished on last Thursday and I already had myself a payback time of sleep yesterday, 15 hours of a wonderful sleep. Now I'm fully charged.
Don't worry, be happy!
It's FRIDAY and it's time for another series of DESSERT OF THE WEEK!
Wondering who'll be DOTW winner? clue... if you are a reader of my blog, it comes from the same place, but of course different menu!
got it?
no?
hahaha... I'm such a tease, here it goes!
It's from BAKERZIN! THE GOOD OLD "NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE".
Frankly speaking, I'm not a huge fan of any kind of cheese cake, it's just that I can't stand the smell and the super milky taste of this, but ever since I tried this gorgeous cheese cake, my perception changes and I need to update my interest, finally there's a cheese cake that's not ultra-cheesy, very well moisted texture and a great balance in sweetness.
You can call me overrated but I do feel a little nervous when I'm about to have a bite of it, I said to myself, well you've ordered it, take a chance...and I did, in a very satisfying way :).
The presentation itself is also cute and pretty. Love it.
You have to have a bite guys! This cheesecake and a cup of a hot jasmine tea or the classic english breakfast is an awesome mate to be.

Sugarloaf Patisserie, Kogarah
If you were one of those kids who never ate their crusts, this is the sandwich for you. Sandwiches de miga (miga means crumb, ie. the part without the crust) are triple-decker crustless sandwiches, popular across South America, especially Argentina.
You'll find them at Sugarloaf Patisserie, a haven of empanadas, churros and dulce de leche sweets. The triple layer sandwiches ($5.50) are in the
